Patricia De Tomas, PA
I was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Miami and the greater Philadelphia area. I attended Penn State University (We Are!), where I was on the dance team and received my Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and Health Professions. I later attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I earned my Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Go Tar Heels! Before starting at Cary Rheumatology, I worked in orthopedic trauma as well as hand, foot & ankle surgery. Being a dancer my entire life, I have always been drawn to specialties that involve improving patients' mobility and activity level. I am excited to be a part of the Cary Rheumatology & Arthritis Associates team where compassionate care is at the forefront of our mission. As a bilingual provider I hope to increase access to medical care for Spanish-speaking patients. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, going to concerts, beaches, hiking, traveling, cheering on Pittsburgh sports and visiting Puerto Rico as much as I can!
